HolyWally wins coveted award

HolyWally has won the coveted Audience Award for its presentation at the Tokyo Financial Award ceremony which was held on 6th February, 2023.

Presentations were made by 12 of the 108 applications in the Financial Innovation Division who passed the first screening and were chosen to be part of the award three-month mentoring and support programme.

The Audience Award was determined by real-time voting from the audience.

HolyWally beat stiff opposition from startups around the globe who had won a chance to take part in the Award programme. It began back in October 2022 and finished this month.

The Tokyo Financial Award is one of the initiatives for the "Global Financial City: Tokyo Initiative 2.0." The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is developing and providing innovative financial products and services that contribute to resolving the needs and issues of Tokyo residents and business operators. It conducts the "Tokyo Financial Award" to commend businesses that practice the spread of ESG investment.

Giving the presentation was HolyWally co-founder and CEO Vel Vasic.

His presentation demonstrated how a digital wallet can help residents of a city such as Tokyo. They can use personalised wallets which relate to their homes and match unique services with their living and shopping habits.

Is now the right moment?
